The principle of operation is connecting rod mechanism movement. There's a lever on either side.the crosshair connections on the two sides arethe fulcrums of the lever,when not pulling on the handle the rubber bandprovides an elastic resistance that allows the shark's mouth to open, thepower to rotate around the two side pivots when the handle is pulled,theshark's mouth can be turned inward at the same time, and the mechanicalshark can then be closed and clamped.
